The opening ceremony will take place on Sunday afternoon, May 15th, at the Jerusalem YMCA. At the ceremony, the Jerusalem Prize will be presented to British author Julian Barnes by the mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Lion. The ceremony will mark the start of a week of professional events presented by the Forum, alongside a week of literary events hosted by the Mishkenot Sha’ananim International Writers Festival.
